Consumption of Magic (Tales From Verania #3) by TJ Klune
Book Reviews , Coming Soon / November 19, 2017

I will be able to download my preorder from Dreamspinner Press in less than two hours!!!! So I have yet to write a review of this series, and I really, really should. I fucking LOVE these books. The Consumption of Magic is book three in this series and it is releasing Nov 20th. I can’t wait. This is possibly the funniest, most awesome series, I have ever read. No kidding. Author TJ Klune’s writing, in general, makes me laugh out loud every single time, but these books, holy crap! I could write an epic poem to their awesomeness and it still wouldn’t come close to explaining how very much I have enjoyed these books. So if you haven’t read the series, go do that. Right now. Seriously. Here is the link to the whole Tales from Verania series. There are wizards, and hornless gay unicorn best friends, and sweet half giants and pervy dragons. There are Fairy-Drag Mother’s and actual fairies too. Also- In book 1, The Lightning-Struck Heart, there is so much angsty love that you will scream. There is so much heartbreak that you will cry, (because TJ Klune is a bastard like that) and so much sass that you can’t read this…

I will admit, I read all five books in three days. I barely slept because I couldn’t go to bed until I knew what happened, and I was useless the next day, but it was so worth it. Josh Lanyon, it’s official, I am a convert. He’s become my go-to mystery author. Adrien English Book Blurbs and Links Fatal Shadows (Adrien English #1) One sunny morning Los Angeles bookseller and aspiring mystery author Adrien English opens his front door to murder. His old high school buddy (and employee) has been found stabbed to death in a back alley following a loud and very public argument with Adrien the previous evening. Naturally the cops want to ask Adrien a few questions; they are none too impressed with his answers, and when a few…
